Line-skip passes at ten parks: current products and park-specific choices
Magic Mountain sells Fast Lane Reserve and Ultimate; the SeaWorld parks sell Quick Queue; both covered LEGOLAND parks offer Fastrack. Check each park’s current product, terms and date.
The current Magic Mountain products are Fast Lane Reserve and Fast Lane Ultimate. Older advice may call the system THE FLASH Pass; use the current product page for names, terms and participation. Knott’s has its own Fast Lane format, the SeaWorld parks sell Quick Queue, and LEGOLAND California and Florida both offer Fastrack. A shared product name does not make different parks’ prices or coverage identical.
A quiet day may reduce the value of paid line-skip access, but a weekday does not guarantee short waits, every ride operating or no need for a pass. Compare your visit’s hours, available attractions, party priorities and live product quote before buying. Prices and availability vary by date.
A single-day product is tied to the park and date purchased. Season-pass or membership benefits have separate participating-park and admission conditions; check the associated pass and add-on terms rather than assuming one purchase works everywhere.
The short version
- Magic Mountain’s two all-day products are Fast Lane Reserve and Fast Lane Ultimate; do not map old base/middle/top-tier advice onto them.
- Reserve holds a virtual place and provides a return time. Ultimate generates access to the Fast Lane entrance sooner; it does not promise immediate boarding.
- Both permit one reservation at a time. Each guest must finish riding the reserved attraction before checking in for the next ready reservation.
- Magic Mountain Fast Lane does not include park admission or Fright Fest Haunted Attractions. Haunted Attractions require their separate admission/access product.
- A mobile device with a browser and internet access is required at Magic Mountain. Products are per guest, cannot be shared, and are subject to date and ride availability.
- Magic Mountain terms checked October 9, 2026; other parks’ dated price examples retain their stated dates. Price the exact visit and check its participating rides before purchase.
- Both LEGOLAND California and Florida offer Fastrack. Check their separate packages and participating rides: California’s Platinum LEGO Galaxy one-shots differ from Florida’s unlimited Galacticoaster access.
What these products actually are
Paid line-skip products provide a different queue or reservation process at participating attractions. Magic Mountain uses digital reservations; Knott’s uses its own Fast Lane format; SeaWorld’s Quick Queue and each LEGOLAND park’s Fastrack have their own coverage terms. Compare the product for the park you will actually visit.
Check participating attractions, exclusions, admission requirements and sale availability on that park’s current product page. Priority access is not a guarantee of immediate boarding or of every attraction being available.
- Fast Lane Reserve and Fast Lane Ultimate — digital reservation products at Magic Mountain. The official 2026 program update also lists Great Adventure, Great America and Over Texas; confirm each park’s current offer before purchase.
- Fast Lane — Knott's Berry Farm has its own product and participating-ride list. Check its current offer rather than assuming Magic Mountain's Reserve/Ultimate options apply.
- Quick Queue — SeaWorld parks (San Diego, San Antonio, Orlando). Tiered bands by ride coverage; the top tiers add the biggest coasters.
- Fastrack — available at LEGOLAND California and LEGOLAND Florida, with separate park-specific packages, participation lists and prices.
Fast Lane at Magic Mountain: Reserve and Ultimate
Magic Mountain’s official FAQ names two all-day products: Fast Lane Reserve and Fast Lane Ultimate. The official 2026 program update describes the current platform in relation to the previous THE FLASH Pass program. This is current product-specific guidance, not a generic three-tier model.
Fast Lane Reserve virtually holds your place while you do something else in the park; at the return time, you may join the Fast Lane for priority access. Fast Lane Ultimate generates a reservation for immediate entry to the Fast Lane. Six Flags advertises a 90% wait-time reduction for Ultimate; that is entry to the priority queue, not a guarantee of immediate boarding or a fixed number of extra rides.
Both products allow one reservation at a time. Guests must fully complete riding a reserved attraction before checking in for the next ready reservation, and can cancel or change a reservation before redemption. Use the current list of available participating rides in the platform; ride availability can change because of weather, maintenance or operations.
The purchase is per guest and cannot be transferred or shared. Online purchases are valid only for the selected date, daily sales are limited, and a mobile device with a browser and internet access is required. Scan an in-park Fast Lane QR code and redeem the purchased product in the platform; the Premium Experience Center can help with redemption.
Park admission is not included. Fast Lane does not include access to Fright Fest Haunted Attractions: those require a Haunted Attractions Pass or Haunted Attractions Express Pass under the event’s current terms. Single-Use Fast Lane is a separate one-ride product sold only for selected attractions at selected times, with variable pricing and availability.
As of October 9, 2026, the Magic Mountain page advertised Daily Fast Lane starting from $49, plus applicable fees and taxes. That starting figure is not a quote for October 15 or for either named all-day product on that date. Check the exact date, product and participating rides in the live purchase flow.

Fast Lane at Knott's
Knott's Fast Lane uses its own wristband format and participating-ride terms. The premium tier (Fast Lane Plus historically) adds the newest and most popular rides to the list — at Knott's that has meant the headliners like HangTime and GhostRider. The wristband mechanics mean no reservations to manage, which families consistently rate as the least stressful version of this purchase.
The value question at Knott's is sharper than at the Six Flags parks because the park is compact: walking between the covered rides is minutes, so a Fast Lane day can genuinely run the full headliner list twice before dinner. On the day types that need it — summer weekends and the fall haunt-adjacent days — it is the most efficient product per dollar on this site. As of July 2026, expect the mid-$100s for the base wristband on peak days, with the premium tier above that; the park's page has the live figure.
October needs its own paragraph: on fall haunt nights the day park closes early and the event itself is separately ticketed. Fast Lane is a day-product; buy it for the family Saturday, not the haunt Saturday.
Quick Queue at the SeaWorld parks
SeaWorld's Quick Queue is tiered by ride coverage: the base band covers a subset of attractions, and the top tiers add the biggest coasters. At Orlando — five real coasters including Mako and Kraken — the top tier is one of the most transformative products on this site, because the park's headline queue problem is concentrated in exactly the rides the top tier covers. At San Diego and San Antonio the lineup is smaller and the lower tiers usually suffice.
The show-schedule interaction is the SeaWorld-specific trick: every park on this site tells you the queues dip during the stadium presentations, and at the SeaWorld parks that is doubly true. A Quick Queue purchase plus deliberate show-timing can produce a near-walk-on coaster day at a fraction of the top-tier price — the crowd is in the stadium, not the queue.
As of July 2026, expect the base tiers from roughly $60–80 at the SeaWorld parks and the top tiers above $100 on peak dates, highest at Orlando. Confirm the live figure and the covered-ride list on each park's page — the tier boundaries move with new ride openings.
Iron Rattler belongs to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, as identified by its official attraction page. It has been removed from this guide’s SeaWorld San Antonio inventory and recommendations.
- SeaWorld Orlando — top tier earns its price; five headliners plus storm-closed afternoons concentrate demand.
- SeaWorld San Diego — mid tier usually enough; Emperor and Electric Eel are the covered draws.
- SeaWorld San Antonio — check its current Quick Queue participation list and date-specific offer. Iron Rattler is at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, a different park, and is not a SeaWorld San Antonio ride or Quick Queue recommendation.
Fastrack at LEGOLAND California and Florida
Both covered LEGOLAND parks offer Fastrack, an optional paid upgrade for a dedicated queue at participating attractions. Theme park admission is a separate purchase; current ride eligibility and operational rules still apply. Fastrack can reduce waiting, but it does not guarantee immediate boarding.
California’s page lists Bronze (3 uses), Silver (6 uses), Gold (unlimited eligible rides) and Platinum (unlimited eligible rides plus LEGO Galaxy one-shots). California’s current FAQ also states a five-minute interval between each ride and scan, selected-date validity and limited availability. Reserve & Ride ended January 31, 2026, and California’s Fastrack Ride Access began February 1, 2026.
Florida’s separate support article lists Bronze (3 uses), Silver (6 uses), Gold (unlimited eligible rides excluding Galacticoaster) and Platinum (unlimited eligible rides including Galacticoaster), with no time slots. Florida’s Fastrack is date-specific, non-transferable and non-refundable, excludes its Water Park and Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida, and remains subject to limited sale and attraction operations. A short wait may still occur.
Do not transfer California’s prices, LEGO Galaxy one-shot allowance or cooldown rule to Florida. California’s starting figures are recorded on the separate price page; the supplied Florida article states prices may vary by date and does not quote a price.
Separate official sources checked October 9, 2026: LEGOLAND California Fastrack and LEGOLAND Florida Fastrack support. Confirm the package, participating attractions, price and visit date directly with the chosen park.
| Park | Product differences | Separate checks |
|---|---|---|
| LEGOLAND California | Bronze 3 uses; Silver 6; Gold unlimited eligible rides; Platinum adds LEGO Galaxy one-shots | California’s participation list, selected date, five-minute ride/scan interval and current price |
| LEGOLAND Florida | Bronze 3 uses; Silver 6; Gold excludes Galacticoaster; Platinum includes unlimited Galacticoaster | Florida’s participation list, selected date, exclusions and current price; no supplied price quote |
When to buy, park by park
Make the purchase decision for the actual visit. A school-year weekday may be quieter, but operating hours, attraction downtime, demand and personal priorities can change the value of a pass. Compare the current price against the participating attractions you want and the wait times you observe; no weekday or weekend rule applies to every visitor.
Magic Mountain sells a limited number of Fast Lane products each day. Check live sale availability and purchase terms before deciding when to buy; there is no guaranteed gate availability, universal online discount or guaranteed advantage to waiting until the morning of the visit.
Compare Reserve’s virtual wait and return-time process with Ultimate’s faster priority-queue access. Neither establishes ride eligibility, includes park admission or includes Fright Fest Haunted Attractions. Treat each park’s product and any season-pass entitlement as a separate decision.
| Situation | Decision | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| School-year weekday | Compare; do not assume unnecessary | Hours, operating rides, current queues and exact-date price |
| Summer or holiday visit | Compare against your priorities | Participating attractions, availability and reservation rules |
| Haunted-event visit | Price ride and haunted-attraction access separately | Fast Lane excludes Haunted Attractions; check the event’s separate products |
| Season-pass or membership visit | Check existing entitlements first | Associated admission pass, participating parks and redemption rules |

Frequently asked questions
Does one Fast Lane purchase work at another park?
A single-day Magic Mountain purchase is tied to its selected park and date. All Season Fast Lane and membership benefits have separate participating-park terms linked to the associated admission pass. Check those terms; shared branding alone does not establish access, and park admission is not included.
Is Fast Lane or Quick Queue better value?
Different formats for different parks: Fast Lane's wristband simplicity shines at compact Knott's, while Quick Queue's tiers match SeaWorld Orlando's concentrated headliners. Buy for the park you are actually visiting, not the brand you prefer.
Does Magic Mountain Fast Lane cover every ride and haunted attractions?
No. It applies to participating rides whose availability can change; it does not include park admission or Fright Fest Haunted Attractions. Haunted Attractions require their separate Pass or Haunted Attractions Express Pass under the event’s current terms. Single-Use Fast Lane is available only for selected rides at selected times.
Does Fast Lane Ultimate mean immediate boarding?
No. Ultimate creates a reservation for immediate Fast Lane entry. Six Flags advertises a 90% reduction in waiting; guests still enter the priority queue and follow operating and eligibility rules. Both Reserve and Ultimate allow one reservation at a time.
Should I always skip Fast Lane on a weekday?
No universal rule applies. Consider your visit’s hours, current ride availability, queues, budget and priorities. Check the live quote and participation list before choosing Reserve, Ultimate or standby.
What prices are verified here?
Magic Mountain’s official page displayed Daily Fast Lane starting from $49 as of October 9, 2026, plus applicable fees and taxes; this is not a quote for October 15 or an assigned tier. The separate price page retains other parks’ September 2026 examples with their own stated dates. Use the live purchase flow for your date.
Do LEGOLAND California and Florida sell a paid line-skip product?
Yes. Both offer Fastrack. Their packages and terms must be checked separately: California’s Platinum adds LEGO Galaxy one-shots, while Florida’s Platinum includes unlimited Galacticoaster access. Admission is separate, participation and sale availability can change, and neither product guarantees immediate boarding.
